Bugs plague Lake Winnebago
LAKE WINNEBAGO -- People living along Lake Winnebago are dealing with a bug problem.
This year's hatch of lake flies might be the biggest in decades, making life difficult for fishermen.
"There ain't much biting I'll tell you that much," one fisherman said. "We got a couple, but I'm pretty sure the fish are filling up on 'em."
Experts said the flies are an important part of the ecosystem because they provide food for fish and birds.
