Bucks players deliver school supplies to local schools
MILWAUKEE - Players with the Milwaukee Bucks delivered school supplies to local students Wednesday, sharing an important message to three schools.
The players gave students binders, folders, paper, pens and pencils. The Bucks’ first round draft choice Giannis Antetokounmpo first spoke to kids in his native Greek, and then he spoke in English.
"You have to do your homework every day. Listen to your parents. Listen to your teacher. They are the people who will help you."
The players visited Cass Street School, Siefert Elementary and Carver Academy.
The Bucks have given out 20,000 sets of supplies to school kids over the years.
