Brookfield police search for bank robbery suspect

BROOKFIELD -- Police continue to search for an armed suspect after a robbery was reported at the BMO Harris Bank, 19105 W. Capitol Dr., Thursday afternoon.

The suspect approached the teller and demanded cash, while displaying a handgun. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money, according to a release from Brookfield police.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a male, 45-55 years old and 5'7"-5'9" tall. He has long dark hair (possibly a wig), with a back and white checkered scarf and dark sunglasses covering his face. He was wearing a dark jacket, a large light-colored hat, grey pants, black shoes and dark gloves.
