Big East unveils 2013-14 schedule
NEW YORK (AP) -- All 10 Big East teams will be part of a New Year's Eve marathon, the first conference games played by the new-look league.
With seven teams remaining from the Big East Conference and three newcomers -- Butler, Creighton and Xavier -- the league will plays its first conference games on Dec. 31, when five games will be played starting at noon EST with St. John's at Xavier. The last game will be Marquette at Creighton starting at 10 p.m.
The middle three games are Seton Hall at Providence, DePaul at Georgetown and Villanova at Butler.
There is an 18-game, round-robin conference schedule.
FOX Sports 1 will nationally televise more than 100 games involving Big East teams this season while CBS Sports Network will air 18.
The postseason tournament will be at Madison Square Garden from March 12-15.
