Alcohol appears to be factor in Sheboygan County crash

TOWN OF SCOTT - A one-car crash in Sheboygan County sends three people to the hospital.

It happened at about 1:10 a.m. Saturday on Cranberry Rd, south of County Road D in the Town of Scott. Investigators say the driver was likely speeding. The car left the road, hit a tree, and rolled over several times.

A 21-year-old passenger was ejected. The 22-year-old driver had to be removed from the car by the jaws of life. They were both taken by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital with serious injuries.

Another 21-year-old passenger was taken to St. Joseph's in West Bend with moderate injuries.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor, and the crash remains under investigation.
