MILWAUKEE-- A Delta flight coming from Minneapolis experienced some mechanical issues after landing at General Mitchell Airport, Wednesday night. None of the 134 passengers or six crew members were injured.

The North-South runway and the airfield was shutdown after the plane taxied into the safety zone and awaited the arrival of maintenance crews. Mitchell then plowed the East-West runway and the airport was back open, shortly before 6 p.m.

According to General Mitchell's Marketing and Public Relations manger, Patricia Rowe, the plane did not experience any issues while in the air.

The passengers have since been deplaned and were bused to the terminal.
