Woman Drives Car Off Grant Park Cliff
SOUTH MILWAUKEE - A woman is in protective custody after apparently driving her car off a cliff and onto a beach at Grant Park Thursday morning, South Milwaukee Police said.
"Our investigation revealed the vehicle had been driven down the bluff in an area to the south of the 7 bridges," South Milwaukee Police spokeswoman Jill R. Kallay said in a news release. "The sole occupant of the vehicle was located standing in the water."
Investigators would not comment on whether the incident was a suicide attempt. The woman is expected to be okay.
