Disruptive Student Arrested in Class at UWM

  • Print

MILWAUKEE - A student in an anthropology class had to be forcibly removed by UWM Police Monday evening after she refused to stop her disruptions and even threatened other students in class.

UWM says the student was apparently upset about a test score.  She arrived late for class and was immediately disruptive.  The teacher told the student she would have to wait until after class to discuss her score.

According to another student, the woman then threatened other student in the class and even knocked some people's books off their desks.

Eventually UWM Police were called.  Officers can be heard on the tape asking the student to leave the classroom.  When she refuses, officers arrest the female student.

She was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
