Hand Grenade Found Along Road in Pewaukee
PEWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Bomb Squad detonated a suspicious device found in Pewaukee Thursday. Investigators couldn't tell if what they found was a live grenade or not, so they detonated it as a precaution.
Authorities found the device near Meadowbrook and Silvernail roads. That's just off I-94, near an elementary school. Several roads in the area were closed while the bomb squad was on the scene.
