Bowling Alley's Owner Accused of Arson
FOND DU LAC - A man has been charged with arson in the Fond du Lac bowling alley fire.
The man accused is the guy who owned the Last Stop Lanes.
According to a criminal complaint, Lyle Huss started the fire two days after trying, and failing to burn it down.
The Fond du Lac Reporter says Huss admitted that he splashed a flammable liquid on a wall, took a lighter, started the fire and walked out to a van where his fiancé was waiting.
Two days earlier, he allegedly tried to have a plug-in heater catch fire inside the alley.
He said that he had talked with his fiancé about burning the place down because of the cost of running the business.
