Quadruple Murder Victim Lost Newborn Son
MILWAUKEE - Brittney Robertson, murdered last month in a quadruple homicide, gave birth to a premature baby fathered by the man who also fathered the youngest son of her roommate Rachel Thompson.
The bodies of Thompson and her two older sons were found in their apartment on Milwaukee's south side. Robertson was implicated in the murders along with her boyfriend, Desmond Laster, and Laster's friend Anthony Barnes. According to a criminal complaint, Laster and Barnes shot Robertson to death later that day.
The three took Thompson's youngest child, 6-week-old Maurice Visor, Jr., and left him unhurt near a church on Milwaukee's north side.
Court documents released Tuesday indicate that Robertson gave birth to a baby boy in December who died shortly after birth. The child's father was Maurice T. Visor, Sr., who is incarcerated in the Dodge Correctional Institution for violation of parole.
Robertson's family disputes the report. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office released this statement about the issue: "The death of Brittney Robertson's alleged infant was never reported to the Medical Examiner's office. Therefore, this office has no reports or no record of this alleged incident. Infant deaths in a hospital setting are not commonly reported to the Medical Examiner's office."
