SHEBOYGAN - A man from Sheboygan Falls faces his fifth drunk-driving charge after he allegedly left a bar, drove his car into a snow bank, reported to police that it was stolen, then returned to the bar.

The Sheboygan Press says that Joseph Sagal, 42, faces up to three years in prison and $10,000 in fines.

The complaint states that Sagal called police to explain that someone stole his car from Tapper's Bar, located on the 1700 block of 17th Street in Sheboygan.

Authorities found his car in a snow bank a half mile from the bar, then followed foot prints back to the tavern.

Those foot prints, according to the complaint, matched Sagal's boots.

He is scheduled to appear before a Sheboygan Circuit Court judge on Monday afternoon.
