West Allis: You'll Be Shoveling Again

  • Print

WEST ALLIS - If you live in the West Allis area, you had one of the biggest snow fall totals of anyone in Southeastern Wisconsin.

That means that much of the work you may have done Tuesday could have been wasted, because you'll probably have to do it again.

"Many of you had the snowblowers out after dark last night, into the evening hours," said TODAY'S TMJ4 HD reporter Tom Murray, who was in West Allis. "There's a good chance you're going to need to do it again this morning."

So are the trucks that will have worked close to 48 consecutive hours to take care of this stuff.

"The trucks here in West Allis have been on the road since midnight Monday going into Tuesday morning," explained Murray. "Trucks will be on the road for several more hours here, but by the time the current shift ends, which is 3:00 p.m., they expect to have their plowing operation done."
