Snow Great for Cedarburg Festival
CEDARBURG - Organizers of Cedarburg's annual Winter Festival are loving the winter weather.
The festival kicks off this weekend.
Snow and cold area necessary components for events that include sledding, bed races on the river, and ice sculpting.
"Last year it was 50 degrees and our ice sculpters couldn't sculpt fast enough!," said B.J. Homayouni, who organizes the event.
She says she checks the weather forecast constantly in the weeks before the Winter Festival.
"I'm excited about getting the snow. It's going to make everything look really pretty," she said. "Now it looks like a real winter festival."
