GREEN BAY - Packers nose tackle Johnny Jolly says he has to look forward and not let an open warrant for him in Houston, TX be "a distraction" to him.

That was his response after authorities in Houston issued the warrant, asking Jolly to turn himself in.

This stems from an arrest for alleged codeine possession.

"It's difficult, but I have to keep looking forward," said Jolly.

"We (have) a game on Sunday and I don't want it to be a distraction to me or my teammates, so I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing and let the Lord take care of that."

The warrant will not likely affect his playing status for the remainder of the 2009 season.

Jolly and the Packers play at the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
