High School Student Laid to Rest
EAST TROY - The parking lot was packed with family and friends of 17-year-old Lauryn Mustain. Hundreds of people came to pay their last respects to the East Troy High School senior.
"She was friends with everyone. She loved everyone. That's basically it. She was a great girl," says her friend Carly Christopherson.
Mustain was one of three East Troy High School seniors killed in a car crash last Thursday in rural East Troy.
Shanna Kuznicki and Steven Wosinski also died. The group of friends was headed to Wal-Mart to do some Christmas shopping when the driver of the car they were riding in lost control on the snow covered road and slammed into another car.
That driver, 17-year-old Andrew Bohmann was seriously hurt.
In the small town of East Troy where the senior class has only 150 students the impact of the tragedy affects everyone.
"Our school has become a lot closer and it's definitely more together and everyone gives each other hugs in the hallway."
Shanna Luznicki was laid to rest Wednesday. The funeral for Steven Wosinski will be held Friday in New Berlin.
