Teen Dies in Bay View Crash
MILWAUKEE - A teenager is dead after being thrown from a vehicle in a Sunday morning crash.
The accident happened on Superior Street, south of Oklahoma Avenue near Milwaukee's Bay View neighborhood.
Investigators say a 17-year-old boy was speeding when he crashed a car into a tree. He was extricated from the car and is listed in serious condition.
His 18-year-old female passenger died later at Froedtert Hospital.
The Medical Examiner's office identifed her as Abegale "Abby" Cyrs of Milwaukee. Cyrs was a senior at Oak Creek High School.
