Sullivan Dad Missing For Two Weeks

By Tom Murray

OCONOMOWOC - Joseph Coloso had been planning a birthday party for his 16-year-old son. Now, the 46-year-old Sullivan father is missing.

"Joe, if you're out there, we're out looking for you," said Jack Coloso, the missing man's brother. "We want to find you. Come back home."

Joe suffered a head injury falling off a horse. He spent time in the intensive care unit at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. Family members last saw Joseph there on November 8 and worry he's disoriented.

"My main fear right now is that he is totally confused," Jack told TODAY'S TMJ4 reporter Tom Murray.

Joe checked himself out of the hospital against medical advice on November 9. That same afternoon, surveillance cameras captured him in the Fort Atkinson Walgreens.

"He's always been one to call, one to stop in," said Jack.

On Friday, November 13, a hunter found Joseph's car in a corn field near Cambridge, Wisconsin. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department searched the area with a helicopter, airplane and dogs, but found no trace.

With the gun deer season underway, Jack urges hunters to look out for clues.

"The best thing everybody needs right now is closure," he said. "One way or the other."

Joseph has a cell phone, but he left it at the hospital.

Coloso is small in stature, 4-foot-11 and less than 100 pounds.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department at (920) 674-7310.
