Racine Soldier Killed at Ft. HoodBy Jay SorgiRACINE - A Racine soldier has been discovered to be the second from Wisconsin to die in the Ft. Hood shooting massacre. Russell Seager, 51, was one of 13 people shot and killed, allegedly by Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan. Seager's family received a call at around 12:00 a.m. Friday. He was listed in the Army reserves as a mental health specialist, serving as a nurse who treated veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder at the Veteran's Administration hospital in Milwaukee.
Seager also taught at Bryant and Stratton College in Milwaukee. |
