MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A 14-year-old former high school student is charged with 10 felonies for coercing teen girls into sending him sexually explicit photos of themselves.

Milwaukee County Assistant District Attorney Matthew Torbenson says on Thursday that the former student at Whitnall High School was charged in Children's Court.

Greenfield police say the boy used threats to get at least six girls to send him nude and semi-nude photos of themselves.

The boy allegedly told the girls he would spread rumors about them. Police say he also told some girls he would distribute nude photos of other girls if they didn't send him photos.

He was a freshman before being expelled last month after the allegations surfaced.

Torbenson says the boy is in custody. He has pleaded not guilty.
