Man Steals Car with Owner Hanging on FrontBy Jay SorgiSheboygan Police have arrested a man from Ohio after he allegedly stole a car from the parking lot of a convenience store and restaurant and drove off with the car's owner hanging on to the car. Police say a man from Boltonville was putting gas in his car at a Mobil/McDonald's on South Taylor Drive in Sheboygan. He was leaving the gas station when he heard someone starting his car. According to police, the suspect starting pulling away when the victim jumped onto the front of the car with one hand entering the driver's side window. The suspect took a pen an stabbed the victim's hand while driving the car south on Taylor Drive. The victim was still hanging on until the car hit the curb, blowing a tire. A witness tried to follow the car and saw the suspect near I-43 and Weedencreek Road after he left the car behind a business. The witness followed the path of the suspect and called police to update authorities on where the suspect was, and officers took him into custody. He could be charged with two felonies, one of operating an automobile without the owner's consent, the other being recklessly endangering safety. |
