Second Man Shot in Riverwest in One DayBy By Jay SorgiRelated Story: Murder in Riverwest The second shooting in the Riverwest neighborhood in 13 hours happened in broad daylight on Monday. Milwaukee police say a man was shot in the back near the 2200 block of North Holton Avenue. He was taken to Froedert Hospital, but there is no word on his condition. Preliminary indications are that the man was involved in a dispute between relatives, which led to gunfire happening before 2:00 p.m. Monday afternoon. Police say he was able to get to a place near the corner of North Buffum Street and West Garfield Avenue, where he was treated and taken to the hospital. Authorities are looking for potential suspects. |
