MILWAUKEE - A five-month-old child was grazed by a bullet on Milwaukee's north side Friday afternoon.

It happened just after noon near N. 12th St. and W. North Ave. Police say a mother was driving with the infant and her adult son when someone fired shots at the car.

The baby has been treated at a local hospital and is recovering at home. Police believe the shooter knew the mother's adult son, who did not remain on the scene.
