Wrong Way Driver Injures Two on I-94By By Tim LethleanMILWAUKEE - A driver going the wrong way on Interstate 94 in southern Milwaukee County injured two people and closed the roadway for almost two hours early Sunday morning. It happened about 3 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-94 near Oakwood Road. The wrong way driver in a Black 2006 Acura struck a 2003 Hyundai. Two people in the Hyundai suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries. The wrong-way driver also sustained non life threatening injuries. Angel Gomez, 30, was arrested. Deputies say they will seek two counts of OWI causing serious injury charges. |
