Sentencing Today in Sheboygan County Hit and Run Death

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) -- A 20-year-old man convicted of driving drunk and killing a teen walking down a Sheboygan County road is expected to be sentenced Wednesday.

Authorities say James Hunt was driving the car that hit 16-year-old Nikki Kehm of Glenbeulah (glen-BYOO'-lah) on July 1 in the town of Scott.

Prosecutors argued that Hunt was drunk at the time and kept driving knowing he had struck the girl.

Hunt was convicted of hit and run resulting in death, homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle while having a prohibited alcohol concentration.
