Father, Son from Sheboygan Killed in Small Plane CrashTOWNSHIP OF CLEVELAND, Wis. (AP) -- A family spokesperson says a Sheboygan chiropractor and his son were killed when their single-engine plane went down in a remote area of Jackson County. The plane's wreckage and the victims were found in a wooded area near Black River Falls about 9 p.m. Sunday. Emergency responders used all-terrain vehicles to search for the plane. Several people called the sheriff's department about 6 p.m. after hearing a plane sputter and crash. Pam Tarr at Dr. David Holtrop's office in Sheboygan says he died in the crash along with his teenage son, Maxwell. The Federal Aviation Administration lists Dr. Holtrop as the owner of the single-engine Grumman built in 1978. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) |
