Wisconsin's History of Serial Killers
Wisconsin has seen its share of serial killers.
The most famous name is Jeffrey Dahmer. He killed 17 men and boys. His crimes included torture and cannibalism.
Dahmer was arrested in 1991 and killed in prison in 1994.
Ed Gein was arrested for a terrifying series of murders in 1957. He dismembered his victims.
The movie "Psycho" was based on gein's rampage.
David Spanbauer murdered three people in the early 1990's, including two young children.
He died in prison in 2002.
