Family Remembers Murdered BartenderBy Charles Benson
MILWAUKEE - A cry for justice as friends and family remember a Milwaukee woman murdered inside a bar. As police try to build a case against a possible suspect, her family waits for charges.
Pam Roberts is being remembered as a loving mother, wife, daughter and grandmother. She would have turned 59-years-old on Saturday. "We are here to pay our respects for her birthday and let everybody know we are still waiting for justice," said Roberts' husband Tom. Tom choked back tears outside the Tiny Tap tavern where Pam worked and was murdered last February. "It's been rough its been rough on all of us," Tom Roberts said. Pam's big brother Doug Roth wears a t-shirt with his sister's picture. Faith and Pam's memory get him through the tough times. "I miss my sister a lot. I really do, but she's here today in spirit," Roth said. Pam's son Eric misses conversations with his mom and wonders if justice will ever be done. "We just want justice we want to find out who did this and we want him charge so we can get on with our lives," Eric Dulay said. Police have questioned a Milwaukee man about Pam's murder. He was arrested shortly after Pam's death and has since been convicted on a weapons violation. |
