(AP) -- A semitrailer truck driver narrowly escaped in Buffalo County after his rig got hung up on some railroad tracks as a freight train approached. Sheriff's officials say John Lee Arkle of Minnesota City, Minn., was driving through the Cochrane area Wednesday when he lost control of his semi on a snow-covered road and got stuck on the train tracks. A southbound Burlington Northern train was chugging toward Arkle, who jumped out of the truck. He suffered minor injuries from flying debris when the train hit the semi, but was otherwise OK. Authorities say Arkle may be cited for driving too fast for conditions. ------ Information from: Leader-Telegram, http://www.leadertelegram.com/ (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press.
