CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (AP) -- With the Pittsburgh Steelers returning to the Super Bowl, Chippewa River Industries is back in the spotlight as the producer of "Terrible Towels" for the team's fans.

The product's formal name is "Myron Cope's Official The Terrible Towel, A Pittsburgh Original."

The late Cope was a Steelers broadcaster and had a child with developmental disabilities. CRI employs about 100 or more people with those same kind of challenges, so their work making the towels helps a new generation learn skills to lead independent lives.

CRI director Dave Lemanski said 100,000 towels are being sent to the Steelers in advance of Sunday's game with Arizona. He said if Pittsburgh wins, CRI might wind up making many times that many, just as it did when the Steelers won the Super Bowl in 2006.
