Police say people with trucks and SUVs tend to drive fast when its snowing because they believe they have better traction; but Racine Police officer Mark Trossen says those drivers still need to be careful "As far as slowing down and stopping, they are held to the same standards as what a normal vehicle would be," says Trossen. Police can still write tickets for speeding if people are going below the posted speed limit if road conditions warrant that. |
