Franklin Bar To Close 90 Days As Punishment for OWI CaseBy From FranklinNOW.comA Franklin bar is going to close for 90 days as punishment for its role in a Christmas 2007 drunken driving accident that killed a West Allis couple. Under an agreement with the city, the Buckhorn Inn will close starting today because one of its bartenders overserved the man who was convicted in the crash. Eddie Lynn Keck, 50, drank nine 12-ounce beers and nine shots of liquor at the Buckhorn, 9461 S. 27th St., shortly before he struck and killed Gary Kitchen and Barbara Kitchen with his van.
