The 48-year-old Jensen is on trial for intentional first-degree homicide in the death of his previous wife, Julie Jensen, at their Pleasant Prairie home in 1998. Prosecutors say he poisoned her with antifreeze and suffocated her. In court yesterday, Kelly Jensen took the Fifth Amendment but was compelled to testify after being offered immunity for anything she might say. She was already seeing Mark Jensen at the time of Julie Jensen's death. They married nearly four years ago. Also on the witness stand was convicted con man Aaron Dillard, who has claimed that Mark Jensen admitted to smothering Julie Jensen. Dillard denied making up the so-called confession as a way of getting out of jail. The prosecutor says Dillard could not have made up details of the confession because they included things like the position of the victim's body that hadn't been released publicly.
