The person gave the information on the condition of anonymity because the deal wasn't finalized. Milwaukee has been looking to rid itself of several bad contracts and will give away the promising rookie it selected last season with the No. 6 pick along with the rest of Simmons' contract. Simmons has two years and a little more than $20 million left on his deal that he signed in the summer of 2005. The Nets get cap room by dealing Jefferson and give the Bucks a much needed athletic small forward. Jefferson averaged 22.6 points last season and has three years and more than $42 million left on his contract. The deal was reported by ESPN.com Thursday afternoon.
