Brookfield Police are looking for those responsible for driving a vehicle on the Brookfield East Football field early Thursday morning.

"Someone broke in and unfortunately did the 'Figure Eight' job," Elmbrook School District spokesperson Andy Smith told Newsradio 620 WTMJ.  "The ruts are eight to ten inches deep."

Brookfield East is scheduled to host Cudahy High School Friday night.  "We're exploring a couple of options," Athletic Director Corey Golla told WTMJ.  "Possibly playing at (Cudahy) or possibly playing it Saturday at Brookfield Central."

According to Smith, the field won't be ready for the Sept. 7th game against Menomonee Falls.  The hope is to have it ready by Homecoming.
