Authorities Investigate Cars Keyed at Waukesha Fair
The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department is investigating numerous reports of cars that were keyed in the parking lots at the Waukesha County Fairgrounds. The department says damage to the cars in consistent with someone taking a sharp object and dragging it along the side of the car.
At this point, it appears about 100 cars were damaged. Reports started flooding into the department late Wednesday night.
Fair organizers say they will now more closely monitor the parking lots. The fair is also offering a $500 reward for anyone who has information about a person or persons responsible for the damage.
