4-Inch rule in effect for City of Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE – Due to heavy amounts of snow, the City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works has declared the 4-inch rule is in effect as of 11:00a.m. Sunday, December 22nd.

Citizens are urged to follow the restrictions to allow for effective curb-to-curb plowing on city streets. The city does will not tow vehicles for a 4-inch rule violation; instead a $40 ticket will be issued.
