Prosecutors in Milwaukee are planning to charge a woman with carrying a concealed weapon after the woman shot herself while she was going to the bathroom.
According to a criminal complaint, Josephine Wagner was walking along Teutonia Avenue with a friend when she decided she needed to go. She went into some bushes and started to pull her pants down. As she did, a gun she was carrying fired. The bullet shattered her femur.
Wagner told police that she was carrying the gun because 'walking up Teutonia ain't nice. It can be kinda scary.'
Wagner faces up to 9 months in prison if convicted.
