Traffic Literally Did Stink on I-43

By Jon Byman

The ride home actually did stink Friday afternoon, at least on I-43.  That's because there were animal byproducts all over the road.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department says a truck owned by Sanimax, a company based in Green Bay, spilled some animal byproducts on I-43 northbound near Bender.

The truck didn't stop, but authorities caught up with it near the Sheboygan County line.

Authorities closed part of the freeway to traffic while crews worked to clean the mess up.  The closures caused huge delays during the Friday afternoon rush.
