3 adults could face child neglect charges in 9-year-old joyride case
WEST BEND - Two West Bend mothers and a boyfriend are facing possible charges of child neglect.
Their children, who are 9-years-old and 4-years-old are accused of taking joyrides twice in the past month in stolen cars.
The family members live together in the same home in West Bend.
The latest incident happened Sunday when the kids drove six miles with a car parked at their home.
Kaiden Duck had a run in with the duo in June.
Duck and his buddy spotted the two driving and forced their car to the side of the road.
"I put it in park and then pulled the keys out." Duck said.
They told Police they were on their way to their Grandma's house during the first incident.
West Bend Police are recommending charges of child neglect after the second incident.
Wednesday the District Attorney said he wasn't sure if or when charges could be filed against the adults.
