Child Shot, Killed in Jefferson County

This morning, Jefferson County Sheriff's authorities are investigating the shooting death of an 11-year-old in the Town of Farmington, and they are not suspecting foul play.

Paramedics were called Thursday afternoon to a house in Johnson Creek on reports that Joshua Nimm had been shot with a 22-caliber handgun.

Nimm was pronounced dead at the scene. It's not clear if the shooting was an accident. He was his parents' only child.
