A happy day for a trademark Happy Days character as they unveil the Bronze Fonz in Downtown Milwaukee.
The statue for the character of the show set in 1950's and 60's Milwaukee gets its home on the Milwaukee Riverwalk near Wells Street.
"You have no idea that 30 years later, you're going to be standing in the great city of Milwaukee, and unveiling a statue to that character," said Winkler.
"That is absolutely amazing."
There's a parade with Winkler and nearly all the other characters from the show, with only Ron Howard (Richie Cunningham) missing due to a movie project that he has to work on.
"I have my television family here."
Part of that family includes Donny Most, who played Ralph Malph.
"It sounds as cliché, the whole thing about being a family, but it really applies to us.
"Now, years later, we almost look forward to these kind of opportunities. It gives us an excuse to get together and hang again."
They'll hang with up to 42,000 of their friends tonight at Miller Park as they throw out the first pitch at the Brewers-Astros game tonight.
"I've never thrown out a ball before. This is going to be unbelievable," claims Winkler.
All this because of the remaining love of a show that made Milwaukee famous.
"Every time I come here to this city, I'm treated with such warmth."
