A professional poker player from Wisconsin was forced to ante up to the state after failing to pay back child support. 

Scott Obst was living in Las Vegas when he was arrested by local authorities for failing to pay over $150,000 in child support for his 17-year-old son Andrew since 2005. 

Andrew's mother thinks the money is one bet Obst won't be able to call.

"I'm not very confident that he's going to comply with what he needs to do," she said. "I'm hoping for Andrew's sake that he does." 

A judge ordered Obst to pay $50,000 by the end of the year or face time in prison.
