(AP) -- A Waukesha woman who sued her son's former fiancee over $1,100 in expenses for a wedding that never took place has dropped her complaint. Laurel Oberthaler sued Jennifer Wilson in May, after Wilson called off her wedding to Oberthaler's son, Mike. Oberthaler sought repayment for expenses related to a North Prairie hall and a Mukwonago church. Oberthaler has said her son and the former fiancee orally promised they'd pay her back. But Wilson disputed that. Oberthaler's attorney, Tim Andringa, says the hall and church agreed to work matters out with Oberthaler. The complaint was dropped during a court appearance Monday. Wilson's attorney, Alan Eisenberg, says his client feels she is vindicated. ------ Information from: The Freeman, http://www.freemanol.com (Copyright 2008 by The Associated Press.
