Police in Waukesha say a carnival worker had to go to the hospital after the worker was stabbed by another carnival worker.  It happened about 8:30 Tuesday on the Waukesha County Fairgrounds.

The men were apparently near the trailers where the carnival workers live when they got into a fight.  That led to the stabbing. The cause of the fight is undetermined at this time.

"Many times there have been pushing and shoving matches (at the fair previously), but this is really the first time something serious like this happened," Waukesha County Sherriff Steve Peterson said.

Peterson also said he believed that the victim has already been treated and released from the hospital.
