A lot of people who applied for jobs in Waukesha County had personal information released to one candidate who filed a complaint because she didn't get the job.
Waukesha County gave Bernadine Matthews the social security numbers, salaries, college backgrounds and other personal information of 130 people.
When she didn't get a job at the County, she filed a complaint with the EEOC asking for copies of the applications for each person who applied for the job.
By EEOC policy, she got them - with all the personal information.
Matthews tells the Journal Sentinel that she made copies of the applications, returned a set back to the county, put her copies in a safe-deposit box at her bank and that she isn't using the personal information.
