Drunk Guy to Police During Arrest: "I'm Bob Barker"

By Jay Sorgi

Come on down, Michael Grudzielanek. You're next on the Sheboygan County Courthouse's version of "The Price Is Right!"

That's after Grudzielanek, who's been convicted of drunken driving four times, received a charge of resisting officers, and telling them repeatedly he was former "Price Is Right" host Bob Barker after being found passed out in a flowerbed after heavily drinking.

A criminal complaint states that a woman discovered the man passed out in her yard on the 1200 block of 23rd Street.

Sheboygan Police Lt. Tim Eirich told the Sheboygan Press that he refused to take a blood-alcohol test, and when questioned about it, he replied, "I'm only Bob Barker."

When police asked him where he lived, he also responded that he was Barker.

The complaint then says that police then tried to arrest Grudzielanek for violating probation, and they had to use force in handcuffing him and putting him to a squad car.

He could get nine months in jail if he's convicted.
