Police in Hartford go on a hunt for a robber. When they find him, they are amazed at what they see.

Authorities say Patrick Bishop, who's 36, bought a pack of cigarettes at the West Side Auto Mart in Hartford on Tuesday.

He then allegedly took out a toy gun and robbed the cashier of the cigarettes and all the money in the register.

Police tracked down Bishop later. He apparently was riding a bicycle, but wearing only a pair of underwear.

The criminal complaint says Bishop had $412 and an unopened pack of cigarettes stuffed into his underpants.

The complaint also states he was peeling off clothes and threw away the toy gun as he rode the bike.

Police found a handgun nearby and also have a security tape that they say has Bishop clearly shown on it.

Police have charged Bishop with armed robbery, and his preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 6.
