Woman dies, teen in hospital, after crash in Kenosha
KENOSHA - One woman died and a teen is in the hospital after a crash in Kenosha Friday morning.
The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. on 39th Avenue, and involved a passenger car and a dump truck, according to Kenosha Police. The two passengers in the car were an adult woman and a 14-year-old male passenger.
"The first officers on scene began to perform CPR on the adult female operator of the passenger vehicle, who had been pulled from the vehicle by nearby residents as the vehicle was on fire," police said. "The fourteen year old male passenger had also been pulled from the vehicle."
The teen was taken by Flight for Life to a hospital in Milwaukee, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The man driving the dump truck suffered only minor injuries.
There is no word on the condition of the teen. The crash is still under investigation.
