MILWAUKEE -- Something is buzzing on top of the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee -- 23,000 bees have checked into two hives on its rooftop.

The hotel's head chef has become the resident beekeeper.

"Honey is the only food with every nutrient the human being needs in it," said Brian Frakes. "Honey never goes stale, there's just so many cool things to learn and I'm continually educating myself on it.

Frakes said he plans to start using the bees' honey by incorporating it into some of his special recipes.
